Exciting times ahead! We're in the studio next week starting work on our debut album and we can't wait, its been a long time coming and i'm sure we'll all feel as though we've had a boil removed when its done. I will keep you posted on developments and track listings in due course and hopefully post some pictures, even better why not follow us on twitter to keep updated. There are also a couple of gigs coming up so see the gigs page for details. The album is provisionally titled 'A Dictaphone In A Carrier Bag' and has no fixed release date. X

Happy Valentines day all you lovers out there, hope you've all enjoyed your unsatisfying meals in your third choice, packed to the rafters restaurants! Its crap that we need an excuse to tell each other how much we care, its so easy to take things for granted. I sound really bitter! I'm not. We're currently getting quite excited about a few things, first and foremost is the recording of our debut album which is set to kick off in early March, we have enlisted the talents of a very special local producer so its going to be fantastic, we'll keep you updated when we can. We've also been invited to play at a secret festival and we should get some free invites for our friends so we'll keep you posted about that one too, but only if you're really nice to us! Lastly, if you have nothing to do this Saturday then come to Preston cause we're playing on the same bill as the rather marvellous Banjo Or Freakout at the Mad Ferret. Remember, in order to love others you must first love yourself so make sure you have a wank tonight.

Just realised how long its been since i've posted anything on here, naughty old me, sorry. The winter months always make me want to hide away and get drunk. As you can see we have actually been busy, the long awaited video for There Is A Spark has finally been finished. It spent some of its life locked in a car which is why it has taken so long but its here now, hope you like it. You can also see it on Youtube in HD if you like. We're playing at The Sanctuary in Burnley on the 15th January with Oceans Of Stone, our first gig of 2011, hope to see you there. Have a great Christmas if i don't see you and if i do, tell me to stop drinking cause it makes me a bit fat.

Hi, how are you? Good? Good. We supported I Like Trains on Tuesday night in Manchester at The Ruby Lounge and it was great! Sorry we didn't let anybody know but it was very last minute and it will hopefully be the first of many quality Manchester gigs, somebody wrote some nice words about it here. We play Barnsley this week (Thursday) so we'll hopefully see you there. If you're into Twitter then visit our Twitter page and see what we've been twatting about and follow us. I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank our good friend Gary Plane for filming lots of nice things for us to put on our site, all the background images and video were filmed/shot by him, so thanks.

Well, its been a while but that's mainly because the sites been getting an overhaul and we've had holidays and that. I hope you enjoy the new site and that you have a modern computer machine with modern web browsing software or else this site is gonna look a pile of chips. As you can see we now have a big f'ing video display area which will be updated regularly with anything of interest we can get our hands on. There's also a new 'Twitter' page which will display our most recent twattings. Playing The Sanctuary tonight and Barnsley Pulse Bar on 4th November, hopefully see you there. That is all x

Played the Live Lounge in Blackburn last night, an evening that started out completely dead then ended up quite hostile but it was a great gig and a really good sound and we've hopefully got some decent footage from it to post! The video for There is A Spark has now been shot and is currently being edited, we also have some 'interesting' band shots to post soon, so keep an eye out. Its been a year since this site was uploaded so i've set myself the task of updating it and giving it a slightly different look, the video for There Is A Spark will be premiering right here on this homepage when its done. We play The Derby Arms in Colne at 3pm on Monday as part of the Blues Festival.

We are on BBC Introducing on radio Lancashire tomorrow night with Sean McGinty, between 8pm and 10pm, please tune in if you have access to a radio and if you don't (you're just weird) then please get online and listen there instead. As we are on the radio we can wear whatever we want and it shouldn't affect your experience of the music but for the sake of visualisation our outfits will be a cross between Huggy Bear and Mad Max Beyond The Thunderdome. Laters yeah?

Girls on film... This week is the week we get our dirty old faces in front of the cameras! We have a photoshoot set to take place on Thursday evening being shot by the wonderful Mark Tattersall, then on Saturday we are going to be shooting our video for There Is A Spark (if we can actually sort out a location) which is lining up to be a pervy Tudor feast! We'll obviously let you see the fruits of our labours as soon as they are ready for human consumption. We have been confirmed to play at the Burnley Festival on Sunday 22nd August, we're on first at 12.00pm so if you can drag yourself out of bed and dust off your boozy heads then please come down, as always your support is necessary and appreciated! Our next gig is going to be a three band guitars and noise epic with two of the most exciting local alternative rock bands around, Metonia and They Attack At Dawn, its on the 14th August and it's going to be well beard! We have a new tune on the way too which i'm very sweaty and excited about, one to shake your fat asses to. Hopefully see you soon x

We are busy buzzy bees making honey with our knees. August is set to be quite a busy month, we're making a video for There Is A Spark which will be screened at the launch party of a new venture called Bovine69 which we will also be playing live at, we have further gigs at The Sanctuary in Burnley and The Live Lounge in Blackburn and we are hoping to get back in the studio for some more recording! Everything is lining up nicely for the gig at the Derby Arms later in the month too, they have a projector which they are letting us use so we are hoping to turn the show into an audio visual feast, not to be missed. We're feeling barons again.

Thanks for coming out to the gig last night if you were there, its nice to get that first one out of the way with the new setup and we had a great time! We're going in the studio next Saturday to record a new single so keep your eyes peeled as we will be giving the track away for free right here on this website! We should also be making a short video document of the process which we'll put on here too. We'll keep you posted on any upcoming gigs. Take care x

Its that time again, time for me to post something and reach out to you through my keyboard and into your reading gland. All our tracks are now available for full preview on Last.fm due to them changing their policies and i've also made Like Stars available as a free download (due to us changing our policies) so get over there and download our asses onto your ipod/iphone/icontemporary-portable-music-device and take us with you on your train/bus journeys! Don't forget, we are playing our comeback gig this Friday coming (4th June) and we're planning to rock like rabid spastics and turn you all into a bunch of twitching, dribbly mongs with our life affirming chops, see gig section for details. If you were offended by the last sentence at all then please report us to the relevant authorities. Dream of great things always. x

We're finally putting on our gigging shoes and going out er... gigging again! Its going to be very exciting with a new set, new drummer, new beards and for Sean its going to be on the night of a brand new age as its his birthday, so if you don't want to come down for the ravishing new tunes then at least come down to give Sean a dead arm or something (after we've played or you may seriously affect his all important special guitar powers). The big day is Friday 4th June and its at The Sanctuary in Burnley, see the gig section for directions. X

I've uploaded some new photos just so you know we are still alive and still have heads and arms and stuff, they won't win any prizes but you get the idea! Things are going very smoothly at the moment and we have some new material to play for you when we see you next, hopefully around May... woo... hoo!

Wow, its been a long time since we have updated the site, in fact it was last decade! We have been very busy behind the scenes trying to recover from upheavals but i am pleased to announce we have a new drummer (well, he's been with us for a few months now) and we are currently rehearsing a new set and new material to be with you around summertime! Our new drummer is called Steven Lockley and we look forward to you meeting him at our next gig.
